Siamo orgogliosi di rendervi partecipi di quanto ricevuto da Richard S. Irwin, Editor in Chief di CHEST sul ragguardevole traguardo di Impact Factor appena raggiunto dalla rivista:
CHEST has just been awarded a 2-year impact factor of 7.652, the highest in its history that equates to a 24% increase over last year’s score. In addition, our 5-year impact factor is 7.854, a 7% increase over last year. With respect to the 2-year factor, CHEST is ranked 4th out of 33 journals in the Critical Care category and 7th out of 59 journals in the Respiratory System category.
Most important to me is the Eigenfactor metric that adjusts the impact factor by eliminating self-citations and factoring in citations in the top tier journals. Our recent Eigenfactor places us as the second-highest ranked journal in both respiratory and critical care categories.
I want to personally thank every one of you for your continued support and contributions. Without your hard work, talent, and impactful efforts, CHEST would not be such a high quality and dynamic publication.
With best wishes,
Richard S. Irwin, MD, Master FCCP
Editor in Chief, CHEST
